Amazon.com Product Description This Casio men's watch has a titanium case and bezel that reduces weight while maintaining the shock resistance that G-Shock watches are known for. The watch is solar powered that allows the watch to run for nine months on a full charge without further exposure to light. The watch calibrates itself via radio signals to the US atomic clock for unsurpassed accuracy. It features five daily alarms, a countdown timer, a stopwatch, auto electroluminescent backlight with Afterglow, a calendar pre-programmed until 2099, a battery power indicator, and a power saving function. A deep waved black resin band provides a secure fit and the watch is water resistant to 660 feet (200 meters).

Rock-solid G-Shock July 15, 2010 B. Wills (NC United States) I purchased this G-shock as a watch store return and it hasn't been off my wrist since I received it. Except at night, when it sits on the window ledge for the automatic atomic clock synchronization. The watch orientation seems to help a lot when receiving signals. The best way I've found is to leave the watch face down, and it seems to sync much better. There are some nights that it will not sync, but that is the nature of radio propagation. It is accurate to plus/minus 15 seconds per month even without the atomic sync. The titanium parts make this model distinctive from much of the rest of the G-shock line, which rely on stainless steel. The titanium bits are the strap screws, the bezel, the case back, and the push rods that extend into the watch from the four exterior buttons. Titanium is less reactive than stainless steel, making it more rust resistant and less likely to cause irritation to sensitive skin. It is also more lightweight than stainless steel. The watch is solar powered, meaning that regular exposure to light keeps the battery topped up and no regular battery changes are needed. It can be thrown into a drawer for weeks and there will still be plenty of juice to run the watch, esp. if you have power-saving features activated. Unlike some other Gulfman models, there is no moon or tide data. The buttons are pretty easy to activate as far as pressure is concerned, and their size makes them easy to acquire without looking. I love the Gulfman!
Great Watch April 21, 2010 Anchan (Seattle, WA) This atomic solar Gulfman lacks the moon and tide graph but do we really this? Most likely not, unless our occupation is a diver or marine related. This watch looks great but does not feel great on the wrist like the Riseman. I'm not saying the band is bad but I wish Casio put the same band for Gulfman. The titanium on the outside makes this watch look really great. I give this 5 stars! Dont waste your money on a Timex. I'm surprised Timex is not out of business....lol.
Great 24/7 watch...as long as you don't work nights April 8, 2010 Silvestre Pena (Los Angeles County) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have a total of 6 watches from a ESQ to Guess to this Casio. I constantly wash my hands for work, and I clean it with all kinds of cleaning solutions and there is absolutely no damage to the watch. I also use it on all my day hikes which are usually longer than 10 miles. This is a monstrously rugged watch. I wear this watch almost all day long. the strap near the face is elevated so it doesn't make your wrist sweaty. My ESQ almost weighs a pound which makes this watch almost feel like nothing. The solar feature makes it really nice not to have to think about the battery dying. The only issue that I personally have with this watch is that it tries to get the accurate time at night when I'm working. And since I'm indoors it takes longer to get the signal. Except for that small inconvenience, very small, inconvenience this is a great all around watch.
Great Watch March 21, 2010 Vernon C. Dougan (Jefferson City, MO USA) As with all of the Tough Atomic Solar's I own and there are a few of them, this is a great watch. Seller had a good price and delivered as advertised. Recommend both the watch and the seller.
Well Worth It March 10, 2010 S. Shah (New Jersey) This watch is definitely awesome. I wear it everyday, and it hardly comes off my hand. In fact, it feels like its become part of me; I feel awkward when I'm not wearing it.
