Other features include a scratch-resistant mineral crystal, AfterGlow LED electro-luminescent backlight, and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet)--suitable for recreational scuba diving.

Great Casio watch . The raised surfaces underneath take a little time to get use to other than that I am happy with this G-Shock.

This is my 3rd g-shock that I've owned in the past 21-22 years. That should tell you how long they last. I spend a lot of time in salt water, and as long as you rinse it off, this watch will take the abuse and last a long time.Dirt and grime got inside the case of my other 2 g-shocks and rotted the case away after many years. The Mudman is sealed and I can tell by looking at it that this probably won't happen with this watch.As with all g-shocks,it is easy to use right out of the case without having to read a lot of instructions. I am totally sold on the g-shock brand and wouldn't personally have anything else on my wrist. I don't think you can find a better watch for the money!

THIS WATCH IS WORTH THE PURCHASE WITH THE EXCEPTION OF TWO ISSUES THAT I BELIEVE CASIO COULD EASILY CHANGE, THE WRIST BAND IS NOT THE SAME HEAVY SOLID QUALITY OF MY PREVIOUS GSHOCK THAT HELD UP FOR 8 YEARS AND THE VOLUME OF THE ALARM CAN ONLY BE HEARD IN TOTAL DEAD SILENCE. ALSO IF THE ONLINE OPERATION MANUAL WAS NOT AVAILABLE, THE ONE WITH THE WATCH IS NOT WORTH THE TIME OF DAY OR ENERGY TO READ. NO WATCH IS PERFECT AND I AM TOTALLY HAPPY WITH THE MUDMAN WITH MANY PLUS'S.
